It’s our pleasure to introduce Bronwyn, our new Senior Account Manager. Bronwyn brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles in digital marketing across various industries. In this blog, learn more about Bronwyn’s background, her journey in digital marketing, and what she endeavours to bring to Coast Digital.

Welcome, Bronwyn! What attracted you to Coast Digital and what were your first impressions?

My career search was fuelled by wanting a hybrid working model and to work with great people who are as passionate about digital as I am – Coast Digital is that and so much more.

In my short time here, I was instantly met with good energy and it’s very clear that you are appreciated as an individual and for what you bring to the team as well as made to feel part of the collective. Everyone is brilliant, kind and they collaborate so effectively and effortlessly.

What attracted you to a career in digital marketing in the first place?

What a question! Truth be told, digital marketing was a career path that happened organically. It’s a journey that has helped me grow and expand my knowledge of digital marketing and social channels through strong relationships and my deep passion for the field.

Digital strategy is an art form and it’s such a fun and exciting industry to be part of. I continue to learn so much about different industries, products and services as well as see first-hand how people interact with it all.

What does your previous experience include, and what does that bring to Coast Digital?

I’ve worked on both agency and client-side across many industries from financial services, telecommunications and automotive, to virtual and in-person events. I’m well-versed in both B2B and B2C models and I’ve also dabbled with D2C initiatives as well. I’ve worked across many verticals of digital marketing and often draw from my experience to understand the bigger picture and how all the moving parts can come together.

I’ve found that my role has always been focused on finding solutions within digital marketing and social media to support individual business ideas and needs. I thrive when I’m able to deliver solutions that benefit the end-to-end value chain, and then execute those solutions with the support of all the talented specialists.

I appreciate that it takes many skilled individuals and their valuable input to facilitate successful implementation across all digital and social channels. What I’ll bring to this role is to guide all the moving parts to make sure we’re all collaborating as effectively as possible with clear communication.

How do you see the role of an account manager and what do you think is the key to being successful at it?

I see the role of an account manager as being the person who has visibility of the overall strategy, manages most of the moving parts and can comprehensively distil the bigger picture for each digital discipline.

Every project comes with its own, unique nuances that all need to work together cohesively. Communication and comprehension are our greatest assets; the more you listen, the more you know and then you can make sure you give the right direction to everyone involved.

What’s exciting in Digital right now?

AI! I watched the film “Free Guy” again recently and the acronym that pops up on every timeline of late is AI.

When I wrote this blog, I saw an email that was all about how marketers are using AI to facilitate many different tasks at scale. I’m sure everyone has seen the AI-generated art and, of course, ChatGPT – check out all our related blogs to find out everything you need to know about ChatGPT!
