The client

Our client, a local authority in the UK, has been a bedrock of support for thousands of children and young people in their area. The challenge

Our skilled social media specialists have a long-standing relationship with the client, expertly managing a series of Facebook advertising campaigns, including engagement, traffic and lead generation campaigns.

Amidst an escalating need for foster carers in the area, we were running a campaign which aimed to encourage adults to enquire about becoming foster carers. The overall goal is to increase the number of loving foster homes, providing young people with the life-changing care and the tools they need to succeed.

However, the campaign faced significant hurdles due to the developing Meta advertising landscape, primarily triggered by iOS changes that affected our campaign’s audience targeting options. This challenge necessitated a fresh, innovative approach.

The solution

In response to these challenges, we completely restructured their advertising campaign. Utilising agile strategies and innovative problem-solving, we capitalised on the client’s strengths to achieve the best possible results.

This involved creating entirely new audience segments (which became a key driver behind our success) and tailoring the ad content to resonate more specifically with these new segments.

The impact

The results we achieved were nothing short of extraordinary. The campaign saw an incredible 52% increase in leads year-on-year, coupled with a 33% reduction in cost per acquisition (CPA).

October 2023 stood out as a remarkable month in our campaign, showcasing an impressive 84% month-on-month surge in leads!

We are dedicated to meticulously monitoring and fine-tuning our advertising campaigns, always aiming to deliver the best outcomes for our clients. A new audience segment—cleverly identified and introduced by our experts—accounted for a significant 40% of the total leads, and engaging video content contributed to 76% of the leads.

More importantly, the increase in leads has translated into a direct benefit for children in need of fostering, ensuring that more young people can be placed in loving and supportive foster homes.
